Minikin Steps

Introduction of Number 4 was given using Pipe cleaners and Beads. Students were asked to put 4 beads in 1 pipe cleaner each.

Diwali is the festival that signifies victory of light over darkness . Thus to symbolise it students of Preschool Primus made Paper Candles and Paper diyas and decorated it.

Read the number wrtten on cup and fill the cup with same no of beads. It is  a no recognition activity teaching them value of numbers and as they count the beads one by one while putting in cups they learn to count the objects

With Festivals already on our minds and in the calendar our little pre schoolers are learning to participate and indulge in decorations like Rangoli which are pertinent to our culture and celebrations. Children made Colourful Shape Rangolis. They also prepared Ravana Stick puppets to mark the festival of Dussehra.

Reading and recognition of letters was practiced through this interdisciplinary activity where in children jumped and hopped into the pond in which the letter was announced by the teacher was written. A perfect amalgamation of English reading Physical activity and Play way Learning.
