As a part of Maths Curriculum, Addition concept was introduced through beads counting activity. Students were given some beads in the Bowl and they were asked to count and ADD MORE beads to the bowl to make the given number.
Holi is the great festival of colors, celebrated every year by the Hindu people in India. Holi festival falls every year in the spring season in the month of Falgun (or March). It is one of the happiest festivals of the Hindus like Diwali. Students made a beautiful drawing of holi festival using vibrant colours as HOLI IS THE FESTIVAL OF COLOURS.
The students were given cards with numbers 0 to 20 and each student called out the number that comes before his/her number. The students with the called-out numbers then came turn by turn in order to complete the entire train of numbers.
ITS SPRING TIME!! With flowers blooming all around & older leaves having fallen down paving way for the newer ones to popup ,the spring is already here!! Children talked about the spring season ;expressed their artistic self using multicoloured crayons to draw and colour flowers and butterfly. PAPER FOLDING tulip flower was made using ORIGAMY SHEETS.
Relax and calm down kids!! ,you had hustling& frisky sessions throughout the day!! MEDITATION after a spirited activity like' play on swings" relaxes the kids ,increases concentration &brings positive emotions and control over negative emotions.Higher EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE helps them socialize well and adjust well.
Learning about THE PEOPLE WHO HELP US was made more realistic by making a few of them present in class during the school hours. The helpers like PEONS ;GARDNER ;SWEEPERS ;GUARD in school came to the class with their tools and talked to the children how they use their tools to keep their school premises clean ;beautiful and comfortable and secure for them.
Introduction of After numbers was given. Students were given Flash Cards of numbers and 1 student was given a number and other was asked 'WHAT COMES AFTER?'
